While Param would conduct walks for schools, his younger brother Soham realized the value of this. Soham, having grown up in the old city of Ahmedabad, felt like he himself didn’t know about the vast heritage of the city. He felt like there are so many students who haven’t even visited the old city despite living in Ahmedabad. Inspired by Param he brought up the idea of curating a specialized program to introduce students to the Heritage Walk of Ahmedabad along with Heritage excursions. So many students today are migrating West for further studies, but as we travel the world it’s important to remember our roots and understand where we come from. By introducing students to the topic of Heritage in schools, we give them a platform to also understand their role in the country and even as they travel the world, we are always Indian Ambassadors who represent what India is.
